Peter is the former Head of Community Services with Durham County Council. He had input to key corporate policy initiatives including Equalities and Change Management and the lead responsibility for relationships with the Voluntary and Community Sectors.
Since May 2008, he has been an elected councillor on County Durham’s new unitary council.
Christine Brookes is a former social worker with Hartlepool Borough Council providing support to vulnerable children and adults.
Christine believes that contentment is a goal that individuals should strive for and the responsibility for gaining this outcome lies not only within themselves, but also through their actions amongst their families, local communities and wider environment. Respect for all should be high on the agenda. Christine thinks the Cedar Partnership can help to promote this idea for all concerned.
Christine provides office management and support to the Cedar Partnership.
